Here at The Old Vicarage in Bridgwater we’re proud to welcome you to our restaurant, Vicarage Kitchen.

Open 7 nights a week to the public as well as our hotel guests, we strive for excellence in all that we do and our food menu is no exception.

We are lucky to be one of the only Bridgwater restaurants to have a number of options of where to dine when you visit us. You can choose to dine inside our newly decorated restaurant, or have a private party in our panelled Oak Room. Maybe you prefer our heated and covered patio (which is also available for bookings and perfect for dinner parties) or even alfresco in our beautiful walled garden when the weather is good! We also have a wood-fired pizza oven on the patio for the summer months – perfect for hazy summer evenings with a refreshing glass of wine or a cool beer.

Whilst our speciality are our steaks from Pynes butchers
our signature dishes are full of flavour as well.

Did you know this beautiful 14th century building used to be where the vicars of St. Marys church lived and learnt their faith?

There are many historic features like our Oak Room and the
bottle holder on our wall outside where the horse and carriage
rider would collect their drink from.

We are rumoured to be Somerset most haunted hotel. All our resident ghosts are friendly, they also say the food is just as good as the old tea rooms that were here before us.

Sunday Roast

Always a favourite, our traditional Sunday roast is available from noon until 3.30pm and from 6pm to 8pm every Sunday. We have vegan, vegetarian or other dietary requirement dishes available as alternatives.
