Bridgwater Carnival 2023 Packages
Here at The Old Vicarage Hotel in Bridgwater, we are delighted to promote our Carnival 2023 package. The Bridgwater Guy Fawkes Carnival is the UK’s oldest carnival and one of the largest illuminated carnival processions in Europe and is held annually on the first Saturday in November. The Old Vicarage Hotel, Bridgwater Carnival Package 2023
Guests will stay for 2 nights (Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th November)
Friday Night – 3rd November
Guests will be treated to a 3-course meal with pre-dinner welcome drink.
Afterwards we will stroll up to St Matthew’s Field to enjoy the annual Grand Fireworks Display – widely renown as the best firework display in the Southwest.
Saturday, Carnival Day – 4th November
Saturday starts with a fantastic home cooked breakfast followed by the opportunity to visit all of the daytime attractions in Bridgwater.
At approximately 4.30 pm we will serve an inclusive 3 course hot buffet leaving plenty of time to find the perfect spot to witness the greatest lit carnival in Europe.
You will be given a wrist band which will give you access to the facilities at The Old Vicarage during the procession. A chance to catch your breath, warm up or
have a hot or cold beverage.
After the famous “Squibbing” phenomenon you can return to the Hotel for a night cap, a good night’s sleep,
Sunday Morning
Sunday Morning sees another excellent home cooked breakfast before we bid you farewell. There’s plenty to explore in the area from the stunning Quantock Hills for a walk and why not come back for our outstanding Sunday Roasts.

Bookings can only be made by telephone direct to the hotel, rooms will be allocated on a first come basis.
A 50% non-refundable deposit will be taken at time of booking. Balance to be paid no later than 1 month in advance (5 October 2023).
