Welcome to The Old Vicarage Hotel in Bridgwater, where we’re thrilled to introduce our Carnival 2025 package! The Bridgwater Guy Fawkes Carnival, the UK’s oldest carnival and one of the world’s largest illuminated processions, takes place every first Saturday in November – this year on Saturday 2nd November. If you’re looking for accommodation for the Bridgwater Carnival, we assume you’re familiar with its rich heritage and with how busy the town and it’s various hotels and b&b’s get, getting booked up months in advance! The Old Vicarage Hotel, Bridgwater Carnival 2 Day Package 2025
The Old Vicarage Bridgwater are delighted to promote their Carnival 2025 package.
Guests will stay for 2 nights (Friday 31st October and Saturday 1st November)
On the Friday night they will be treated to a 3-course meal with pre-dinner welcome drink.
Afterwards, stroll up to St Matthew’s Field to enjoy the fireworks – renowned as the best firework display in the Southwest.
Saturday starts with a home cooked breakfast buffet, followed by the opportunity to visit all of the daytime attractions in Bridgwater.
At approximately 4.30 pm we will serve an inclusive 3 course hot buffet leaving plenty of time to find the perfect spot to witness the greatest lit carnival in Europe.
You will be given a wrist band which will give you access to the facilities at The Old Vicarage during the procession. A chance to catch your breath, warm up or have a hot or cold beverage.
After the famous “Squibbing” phenomenon you can return to the Hotel for a night cap, a good night’s sleep, and another excellent home cooked breakfast buffet on Sunday morning.

FRIDAY 31st of October ARRIVAL 3PM
- Pre-dinner welcome drinks
- Friday evening dinner in the restaurant, pre-order 3 course set menu
- Guests can then see the fireworks.
SATURDAY 1st of November
Breakfast Buffet 8.30 – 10.30
Carnival Supper Hot Buffet served at 4.30pm, 3 courses, tea, and coffee.
Guests then see the Carnival, wrist band only to return to the hotel.
- Arrival back to the Hotel approx. 10pm, bar open until 11pm

Terms and Conditions:
Bookings can only be made by telephone direct to the hotel, rooms will be allocated on a first come basis.
A 50% deposit will be taken at time of booking. Balance to be paid 1 month in advance (1st October 2025).
Parking:
The Old Vicarage does have 10 dedicated car spaces. Spaces are offered to guests on a first come basis although there is free street parking nearby. There are also many municipal cars parks a short distance away and we will happily reimburse you when you give us the ticket. We have maps of local car parks available on request.
Cancellation policy:
Free cancellation up to 3 months in advance. From 4th of August 2025 deposits are non-refundable.
